“I adjust the color to my state of mind” At the clinic, I am known as a lipstick expert because I was a beauty consultant for Chanel. In my role as a consultant in the clinic, I deliberately choose not to wear red because it distracts too much. This is how I ensure that all attention goes to my client. I usually wear a nude lipstick with a peachy undertone. For a fresh but natural effect. I usually opt for a matte complexion because shine is too noticeable. With matte lipstick, you should make sure that the lips are well hydrated. When I have dry, skinned lips, I use a soft lip balm. In my spare time, on the other hand, I adjust the color and texture to my state of mind. For example, when I'm tired, I pick a nice bright color that makes my face and eyes shine. When I wear a bright color, I make sure to keep the rest of my makeup simple. Am I having a party in the evening? Then I go out with a dark, sensual color. Fresh, sweet or sexy, the right color on your lips can mean more to your appearance than you think. As far as I'm concerned, lipstick really can't live without a lip liner. I like my own lips, but sometimes I just want them to be a little fuller. By drawing just outside my natural lip line with my lip pencil, I make my lips visually fuller. However, I make sure that the color of the lip pencil matches nicely with the natural color of my lips. If I don't do this, the lip line can stand out and look unnatural. The darker the color, the smaller your lips appear. This can give your face a somewhat stricter look. To enjoy your beautiful color longer, I have another tip: Color your entire lips with lip pencil and apply lipstick over them. Dance, drink, eat and you'll notice that the color lasts all evening. Are you inspired to make your lips shine too? Collect all the lipstick you have at home and see what else suits you. Make a selection of different varieties and try experimenting with them. Enjoy your new lips. But beware: beautiful lips are for kissing.
