The erbium laser is safe and effective for almost all skin types. Why did you choose the treatment? Why I wanted to do the treatment was because of a few reasons. One of them is that I saw that my skin was getting older. When I laughed, I saw many fine lines in my cheeks and eyes, which also remained at rest. That's why I thought my skin could use a little boost. In addition, I have my entire childhood, up to the age of 30.^e, struggling with acne. This left me with a lot of scars. I hoped that my scars and fine lines would decrease and for a better structure for my enlarged pores. After this treatment, I got everything I wanted. I have skin that glows and I enjoy it every day. My experience Day 1 Our skin therapist Sandra prepared me well for what to expect. My skin was carefully cleansed and my eyes were covered with two stickers. The laser machine and extractor were then switched on. The extractor is necessary to prevent the smell of burning, which is caused by heating the skin. She started on the right side of my face. The treatment itself felt like hot shots, which fortunately didn't feel very painful. However, I immediately felt warmth on the treated area. The treatment was easy for me to maintain and it was not difficult to lie still. After the treatment, my face glowed with heat and was very red. I compared it to being really burned in the sun. And then a little bit worse. Sandra guided me through the treatment step by step, so I really felt at ease. At home, it kept glowing and I felt my skin throbbing (blood flow). Nevertheless, I was able to sleep well at night. Day 2 The next morning, I woke up with swelling under my eyes. It looked like I had two pockets of moisture under my eyes. In addition, I had swelling on my forehead, temples, cheeks and lips. Because Sandra had prepared me for this, I was not shocked. My face was still glowing and still felt burned and sensitive. I applied Flamigel to the glowing areas to cool my skin. During the day, the glow diminished and, fortunately, at the end of the day, I no longer felt any pain. I was glad to have reached this point, because I found the throbbing and glowing feeling in my face a bit annoying. In total, everything took about 28 hours in total before I felt relief. Day 3 I woke up again with swelling. Especially under my eyes, but now also up there and found it difficult to open my eyes. I saw a clear pattern on my face that the laser had left behind. There were all the tiny holes on my skin. Fortunately, it stopped hurting and was no longer red. However, I must say that I stayed inside all day and also avoided the sun at home. Day 4 Again, in the morning, I saw swelling, especially around my eyes and cheeks. My skin started to feel like sandpaper and I still saw the pattern of the laser very clearly. Around my mouth, my skin started peeling slightly. When I ate, my skin felt tight and I felt like I couldn't open my mouth that far. Day 5 This morning, I saw swelling, but also a bit more scaling around my mouth and chin. I then decided to cleanse my skin with SkinCeuticals' Simply Clean. During cleansing, a lot of peeling came off due to soaking the skin. A rosy skin appeared under this skin! Day 6 In the morning, I finally had less swelling. I cleansed my skin again and again I saw that the old skin came off. I already really liked the result and my skin felt great. Day 7 All I had left was laser patterning at my hairline and jawline. In the middle of my face, the swelling had almost disappeared and I had become soft, rosy skin. I still saw crow's feet and fine lines on my face, but the final result only becomes visible after a month. I am very happy that I did this treatment. I see that my texture has really improved. I would do it again next year!
