Fruit acids

At the end of last year, dermatologists Eugene van Scott and Ruey Yu received an award from the Forum for Cosmetic Surgery for their discovery of the effectiveness of alpha-hydroxy-acids (AHAs = fruit acids) for skin rejuvenation. AHAs are commonly used in creams, serums, and peeling fluids.

The latter drugs are more powerful, but require a recovery time of 5-14 days. After a peeling with AHAs, you can come back to people the same day, so to speak, often with some redness as a reaction. In low concentrations, these substances can also be used at home as a serum or incorporated into creams. The good anti-wrinkle creams contain AHAs as ingredients.
