Tretinoin cream (Vitamin A acid cream) against wrinkles?

Tretinoin cream (vitamin A acid cream) provides a transformation and promotes skin renewal. This makes it an effective remedy for treating wrinkles, pigmentation and scars. What is Tretinoin cream/Vitamin A acid cream? Vitamin A Acid works as a kind or “skin conductor”. It stimulates skin division so that the old skin layer rejuvenates and looks fresher and brighter. With age, skin cells divide more slowly, making the skin look less fresh/vital. Through the use of Vit A acid 'transforms' the skin, removing old dead skin cells and replacing them with young new cells. Skin cells that divide too quickly, such as pigment spots, are actually calmed down by the transformation. The skin becomes “balanced” and signs of premature aging are corrected.

What is this cream suitable for?

  • Skin Rejuvenation
  • Fine lines
  • Stretch marks
  • Pigmentation spots
  • Hyperpigmentation

For long-term success, it is important to to be very reluctant to use tretinoin because it causes irritation. Tretinoin irritates the skin: -> It has an anti-aging effect -> This makes the skin thinner -> This also causes the skin to eventually become red and too thin Om prevent complications and side effects clinic, we recommend making a long-term plan for your skin with a Skin Therapist. How do you use vitamin A acid?

The skin needs to get used to vitamin A acid. If you don't build it up slowly, you can 'overload' the skin. Prevent irritation due to vitamin-A acid It sounds almost too good to be true: a cream that can rejuvenate your skin. However, this always happens slower than you hope and expect. Vitamin A acid can irritate the skin very much and it is important to build up use slowly. If you don't do this and use it more, the skin may become irritated. Irritation of the skin due to Tretonoin can manifest itself in the following way: - redness, dry skin, flaking, burning. This can cause you to get the opposite effect; the tretinoin damages the skin, causing it to age!

Using tretinoin

- Use only in the evening. - Apply thinly 1-2 times a week to clean, dry skin. - Do you use tretinoin more than twice a week:

  • then you run the risk of having many more side effects
  • then you are likely to develop a hypersensitivity in the longer term
  • you won't get smoother skin. So applying more does not lead to better skin, but it does lead to irritation!

- After applying the tretinoin cream, you can use a good moisturizing cream. In the beginning (and when used excessively), your skin has more difficulty retaining moisture, which can make the skin feel drier. - On the days that you do not use the tretinoin cream (and for cleansing, moisturizing and protecting the skin), we recommend Environ. This care line contains high doses of vitamins A-E and C. - AVOID SUN It is important to protect the skin with SPF. -In the summer, it is best to moderate the use of tretinoin cream. Tretinoin ensures that your skin reacts (more) strongly to sunlight. - If you have irritation, you can choose to

  • less often to lubricate
  • thinner to lubricate
  • to avoid areas of irritation (Make sure you unintentionally spread the cream over your skin at night)

The result of vitamin A acid

How quickly do you see results? The use of this cream will be noticeable soon. It's important to know that you may experience temporary reactions such as irregularities, redness, peeling and itching as part of your skin's transformation. These mean that the treatment is working and are no reason to discontinue treatment. Don't worry, this is temporary and will go away soon! 1st phase lasts 6-8 weeks: Your skin becomes more uniform in color; skin cells come into balance. 2nd phase lasts 6-8 weeks: Your skin becomes smoother and softer; natural renewal rhythm begins to recover. Result: The skin looks healthier and younger, is firmer and has a natural glow. In the 1st phase, side effects such as redness, dryness and peeling may be more present. This disappears as the 2nd phase enters.

When should you not use tretinoin?
