get more energy!

I myself am a fan of painting coffee. Nice that it has been proven that coffee has so many health benefits, despite the disadvantage that coffee is a diuretic. (Diuretic: increases urine production).

Why does drinking coffee have so many benefits?

The taste is delicious, and you get a great caffeine kickstart. The reality is that as long as you're not suffering from the side effects of caffeine (and you're not throwing in a whole mountain of sugar), there's nothing wrong with enjoying a few cups a day, but it doesn't hurt to also think about all other ways you can increase your energy levels — thereby improving your mood, increasing productivity and improving your health.

Here are some of my favorite energy boosters:

Green tea

I love the taste and green tea contains many disease-fighting antioxidants that provide countless health benefits. If you like a sweet drink, skip the sugar and try adding natural ingredients like agave nectar or stevia. Notes I always grab a hand with walnuts or almonds when I'm hungry. The proteins and healthy fats make me feel full and ensure that I have enough energy throughout the day. Yoga You get energy from any form of sport or exercise. So why not walk around the block when you're feeling weak as a mop? I love starting my day with a few yoga exercises to wake up my muscles and mind. (Sun Salutation) sleeping It's great to take a nap (and if you don't have a boss, kids or other distractions, it's sometimes possible). Try to sleep at least 7.5 to 8 hours per night! The key to doing that is:

  • maintain a cool temperature in the bedroom,
  • provide dim lights half an hour before going to sleep, and
  • make sure there are never laptops, cell phones and TVs in the bedroom!
