Fillers

What is restylane?

What is Restylane? The answer to this question is brief. Restylane is a hyaluronic acid filler. The Restylane brand has launched a number of fillers; fillers with different thicknesses, each with a different purpose. In other words, each for a different indication. For example, if you want to treat the skin more, choose Vital. And do you want to add more volume? Then Perlane is the best option. At Clinic Doctor Frodo, we can tell you exactly which type of hyaluronic acid best suits your desired result.

Volume with Restylane

Restylane is a hyaluronic acid that uses Nasha technology. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is naturally found in the human body. It has a considerable water-binding capacity. For example, hyaluronic acid attracts water molecules that ensure that the skin stays hydrated. In addition, hyaluronic acid provides elasticity and firmness. As we age, the amount of our own hyaluronic acid decreases. This can lead to dull and/or dry skin, fine lines and wrinkles.

Restylane: one of the first fillers

Restylane was one of the first fillers on the market. The product is injected where more volume needs to be created. The structure of the filler is best compared to building blocks that are built on top of each other. This allows volume to be created. This makes Restylane ideal for smoothing facial wrinkles. The effect of Restylane will remain visible for about six months. Thereafter, the treatment will have to be repeated.

Restylane side effects

As with other fillers, there may side effects occur when using Restylane, such as bruising and swelling. These Restylane side effects usually disappear within a few days. Have you had allergies before after using Restylane? Then you would be wise to discuss this with the doctor who treats you first.
